Manning shared the news about his appearance at Paris Olympics 2024 on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. During the show, he expressed that initially, he was in disbelief at being considered for the role. But eventually, it was confirmed.
Besides sharing the responsibility with Clarkson, Manning will join sportscaster Mike Tirico. Because of this, he considered for the role and credited Tirico’s persuasive arguments to accept this responsible duty. The ceremony will unfold along the scenic River Seine and is set to make history as the first Olympics opening event to take place outside a traditional outdoor setting. There will be 104,000 spectators paying for tickets for the lower riverbanks and 222,000 spectators for upper banks, per the data revealed by the French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin. Meanwhile, Manning’s name has come up along with the NFL GOAT, Brady, now that he too is on the verge of assuming a new role.
