Antonio Brown is notorious for poking Shannon Sharpe where it hurts. From hurling homophobic slurs at the Pro Football Hall of Famer and teasing him with hashtags like “gay” and “rainbow,” AB has done everything. Unsurprisingly, he couldn’t resist firing back when Sharpe handed him the perfect troll material.

Shannon Sharpe has spilled some tea on Cam Newton’s Funky Friday podcast. The 56-year-old bachelor revealed he hasn’t spent the night at a woman’s place in 31 years! Why? He shared two hilarious (and maybe questionable) experiences that left him wanting to avoid overnight drama.

Never one to miss a chance to take potshots, Antonio Brown reposted Sharpe’s story on his social media, hurling homophobic slurs and mocking Sharpe’s reasoning for his self-imposed dating rule. He wrote, “F**got of the Day #CTESPN” on his X handle. And a day before, he reposted the same news with, “The jokes write themselves,” pointing at Sharpe’s bizarre story.

Here’s how it went down: when he was a rookie with the Denver Broncos, Sharpe needed a crash pad due to a late arrival. He called a woman, thinking she was single, only to be greeted by her man! Luckily, he turned out to be a starstruck fan who helped diffuse the awkwardness. Unfazed, Sharpe faced a similar scenario once more, encountering a woman who happened to have a “dude” armed with an AK-47. Sharpe bolted, leaving his belongings behind. These two incidents, apparently, were enough to convince him to avoid overnight stays at all costs.

While the internet community debated the truthfulness of Sharpe’s stories, AB just found an added meme material.

Antonio Brown is ready to unleash everything from memes to diss tracks.

Sharpe memes are now a regular feature on Antonio Brown’s social media accounts. A TikTok video went viral after Sharpe wore a bright orange bag and a tight muscle tee. Brown, along with some other online bullies, turned this into a homophobic meme. Soon, AB was seen posting photoshopped images with “adult toys” supposedly at Sharpe’s house, and even created a fake island in the shape of a d**k, calling it “Shannon Island.

Last month, things escalated when Brown announced plans for a diss track called Shannasaurous Rex Diss Track. He aimed to get Shaquille O’Neal and boxer Ryan Garcia to collaborate. The idea was wild but kind of funny. Brown figured he could exploit Shaq’s existing tension with Sharpe for some lyrical ammunition. Shaq even played along on his podcast, rapping a freestyle criticizing Sharpe’s basketball commentary over one of Garcia’s beats. While the collaboration never materialized, it offered a glimpse of what could have been a hilarious (and messy) internet feud. In the meantime, Brown gets more content to build his lyrics on.
