Did James Houston's wardrobe malfunction steal the spotlight from the Lions' epic comeback win?

Imagine being in front of almost 72,000 people and suddenly facing a wardrobe malfunction, scary right? Well, this is something that happened with Detroit Lions‘ LB James Houston and Ex-NFLer Antonio Brown didn’t leave the opportunity to comment on it.

The Lions star was all over the news after a yellow patch was seen on the back of his pants. This was when the team had 3rd-and-10 at their own 35 and trailed 10-7 with over nine minutes left in the first half. Texans QB CJ Stroud handed the ball off to Joe Mixon but he was quickly covered but Lions’ Houston and several other Lions defenders. This was the first time when this huge yellowish-brown splotch was spotted on the defender’s pants for the first time. Many started wondering if Houston soiled his pants while playing.

Brown was one of those who raised this ‘poop’ question. The ex-NFLer posted a screen-grab of Houston’s pant stain and posted it on his X (formally known as Twitter) along with a caption, that read, “Wait 41 shit his pants?”.

Did James Houston's wardrobe malfunction steal the spotlight from the Lions' epic comeback win?

Have an interesting take?

In some games, you repeat history while in some you create them, and surely Detroit Lion created history on November 10th with their exciting comeback against the Houston Texans. Things weren’t really in the Lions where they were badly trailing by the end of the second half. But after the second half, Jared Goff and Co. looked completely different. During the post-game interview, HC Dan Cambell lauded his team for this incredible performance.

In the post-game interview, Cambell labeled his side as a “good team” As for him winning a game when nothing is going in your favor is something very tough. He added, “We had to fight our way back in there. Look I’m proud of the guys. There’re things that obviously we got to clean up but they just wouldn’t go away, our guys wouldn’t go away”. Well, many are crediting HC Cambell for inspiring the team to this win, and genuinely speaking they seem to be right. Before halftime, the Lions’ chances of winning this game were just a tad bit over 7%, but ultimately they came roaring back and seized a 26-23 win on Sunday.

The team has been phenomenal throughout the season so far and now as they focus on the rest of the games remaining of the regular season. Having lost just one of their 9 games played so far, they are leading the NFC North and are surely one of the top contenders for a playoff spot this season. Now as they move to Week 11, they will be hosting the Jaguars at the Ford Field on Sunday. Cambell will surely try and fix the problems that emerged during the first half of the game this week and hope that the team keeps their good run going.
