Antonio Brown slams Brittany Griner—Is he right, or just seeking attention?

In the sports scene, two things will never change: people bashing Deion Sanders over anything he does and Antonio Brown trolling whoever he wants. Looks like AB is back on his warpath taking random shots at other players. The former WR was trending for all the wrong reasons back in April-May because of his “she keep it hairy” comment about Caitlin Clark. Now he is backing taking a shot at another WNBA player.

On July 20th, Brown retweeted a post shared by Leading Report. The initial post had the following caption: “BREAKING: Trump – “We will not have men playing in women’s sports. That will end immediately.” Now, for some reason, Brown thought it would be funny to call out Brittany Griner. “Congrats to Brittany Griner on a great career #CTESPN,” he wrote while sharing the tweet by Leading Report. While the initial statement by Trump is controversial on some levels, Brown’s comments are even worse. Griner, who is a 6 time WNBA all-star, has kept her gender somewhat private. While being born in a male body, she has identified as a woman all her life and she deserves all the respect for her choice.

Brown has had a history of bashing people and their gender, body, or ethnicity. His beef with Caitlin Clark forced Clark to take steps and block Brown on X. His targets are not limited to women, though. Back in March, Brown shared a video of former tight end Shannon Sharpe with the caption “Rainbow 🌈 #CTESPN #GAY #Steroids” But wait, there are more. His shenanigans don’t stop at other players.

Shots at Biden

When the entire assassination attempt happened, Brown took to X to share another controversial opinion. “One president candidate survives presidential assassination attempts and the other sh*ts his pants… what a time to be alive,” he said while taking a jab at President Joe Biden. Also back in April, Brown shared “Joe Biden is the worst president we’ve ever had” on his account. These multiple jabs from the ex-NFL star had caused Biden to even block Brown.

Have an interesting take?

With everything that has been happening in the country and around college football, it is still surprising that Antonio Brown has refused to change his ways. From mocking the president by calling him “Dumba**” to calling other players “G*y”. Sometimes it seems like he would do anything to stay relevant on X and garner some social media points.
