The frigid temperature of -4 degrees at kickoff marked the NFL’s fourth-coldest game on record. As someone who has been a cold-weather QB for the majority of his career, Brady highlighted how it has been difficult for the players to battle in icy conditions. He stated, “You have a 100 degree temperature difference in real field”

Amidst a not-so-satisfactory streak this season, the QB found himself navigating uncharted territory both in terms of the weather and an unforeseen equipment setback. On a second-and-7, he scrambled right, and gained 13 yards only to collide helmet-to-helmet with Dolphins safety DeShon Elliott. Due to the impact, a piece got dislodged from Mahome’s crown. Refused to be deterred by the helmet mishap, the elite QB drove Kansas City to victory with a lead of 26-7.
