The morning of May 3 started with quite an explosion in the rap world. Drake and Kendrick Lamar dropped their diss tracks back-to-back. First, Drake’s “Family Matters“ hinted at domestic violence allegations against Lamar. The Compton native quickly fired back with “Meet the Grahams,” taking things further. Lamar’s verses were like an open letter to Drake’s son Adonis, saying, “Sorry that that man is your father.“

Who is winning right now, Drake or Kendrick?“ Fans eagerly waiting for such a “safe space“ flooded in, eagerly debating and showing their battle skills with words. Kendrick Lamar fans flooded RG3’s safe X space, ready to defend their favorite rapper. A Lamar fan jumped in, arguing why Kendrick won the battle. “Kendrick. Euphoria > Push Ups, 6:16 in LA > Taylor Made, Meet the Grahams > Family Matters,“ he posted. Another fan joked, “K Dot… but we need those receipts!“ referencing Lamar’s lyrics about Drake wasting money and losing his receipts trying to dig up dirt. Another simply declared, “Kendrick… Drake’s body is cold. It’s over.“
