Retirement leaves you with plenty of time in hand. Ask ex-Eagles center Jason Kelce. Co-hosting podcast with his brother and Chiefs TE Travis Kelce. You now know why Jason seems more enthused about a New Heights episode. Now, as he becomes more and more active on X, specifically, he replies to a comment from a fan making a peculiar wish.

A fan wrote: Let’s get the @JasonKelce and @tkelce Irish Drinking Songs album! Perfect for St. Patty’s Day and Beer Bowl!” Jason Kelce’s response? You can bet that he was not letting it go. “Man, I am so in on this!! My voice is probably best suited for an album like this anyways,” he replied. Now, before you think he’s just boasting, remember, there’s some serious method to this musical madness.

Yup! The big brother Kelce was behind the mic not long ago, in 2023. Jason’s not just talking the talk; he’s walked the walk. He combined his singing voice with fellow Eagles Lane Johnson and Jordan Mailata for a Christmas album, “A Philly Special Christmas Special.” And no, it was not just a holiday hit; it was a charitable juggernaut that raked in $3 million for nearly 70 nonprofits around Philadelphia. Talk about a touchdown for a good cause!

The album, which dropped on Nov. 3, featured a cameo by the iconic Patti LaBelle and a little brotherly love from Travis Kelce. Fast forward to now and the fan just wanted to get mesmerized by another Kelce song. Do you blame him? What’s even better is that it’d be for St. Patrick’s Day. So, Jason and Trav would have ample time to prepare for it, and who knows? A Taylor Swift feature could also be on the cards for sure.

It’s still in the ‘thinking’ stage. But his ESPN debut wasn’t.

What’s your perspective on:

Can Jason Kelce's charisma on ESPN rival Taylor Swift's star power?

Have an interesting take?

Jason Kelce’s Monday Night Football debut was anything but ordinary. Picture this: the former Eagles center, who’s usually the one dishing out the hits, found himself on the receiving end of some major laughs. And let’s not forget Tom Brady’s broadcasting debut—yes, even the G.O.A.T. can stumble in the spotlight. Nerves, it seems, are the great equalizer.

But back to Kelce: his debut was a riot, not just for viewers, but also for his own family. Travis Kelce spilled the beans on their podcast, revealing how he and girlfriend Taylor Swift had a great time cracking up when they found out Jason bought a shirt that was a bit too snug. “Me and Taylor were watching that, absolutely dying laughing at it.”

What happened was Jason forgot the travel bag in the truck. So, he had to get a replacement shirt from the mall to not appear ‘shirtless’ on his ESPN debut. That would have been something. But there was a small issue with the shirt, he explained on live broadcast. “It fits my belly now,” Jason joked, “but my t— are still struggling.” Classic Kelce humor, right?

The comedic moment didn’t go unnoticed. ESPN aired the blooper reel, and fans, including Travis, jumped on the chance to poke fun. “Surprised he even bought a new one and didn’t just go shirtless,” Travis quipped in the comment section, referencing his brother’s earlier shirtless cheerleading antics for the Chiefs in the playoffs.

Jason Kelce wasn’t shy about his nerves either. He admitted, “I did not feel prepared. I felt very nervous.” But hey, if anything goes in broadcasting these days, Jason’s got the right attitude. If week 1 was the start, we can for sure prepare for a humorous season with Jason for sure.
