Apparently, during the Bills-Seahawks game on Fox Sports on Sunday, the highest-paid sports commentator, Brady, stimulated controversy with harsh words on the Fox broadcast. During his commentary, he discussed Josh Allen’s development as Bills QB. Allegedly, Brady claimed that the Pro Bowler used to play like a “spaz” before developing greater control under center. “Sometimes he played like a spaz, like a grade-schooler on a sugar high,” Brady stated.
Seemingly, the media house criticized him for using this derogatory term in his commentary. They described that the word “spaz” is a derivative of the word “spastic,” which denotes being uncoordinated, stupid, or losing physical or emotional control. According to the New York Post media company, this term, considered offensive by some as an ableist slur used in jokes and metaphors to “dehumanize” people with disabilities, should be used to describe medical issues in specific situations.
Amid this controversy, everyone was surprised to see AB stick up for Brady. This post came after Brown’s heartfelt audio clip and his apology tweet went viral on social media.
