It’s been almost seven years since Antonio Brown last played for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Still, he claims to have credible sources surrounding the rumors swirling at his former home. This time, he seems to have indulged himself deeply in the stories related to Aaron Rodgers’ move to the Steelers. Like his latest claim on his notorious X account may have signaled the end of the Steelers QB drama. Not only that, but it might also have confirmed that Rodgers is probably not retiring just yet.

So, welcoming you to yet another episode of the Steelers and Rodgers union powered by CTESPN. Pittsburgh’s own Antonio Brown is claiming an end to this Rodgers-to-Steelers saga—is coming soon. See, Brown may have made a reputation of making a fool out of himself through X posts. But you can’t just ignore his latest tweet if you are even remotely interested in seeing Rodgers in black and gold. Brown basically throws a question asking, “Will I get the credit when the news drops…Rogers to the Steelers 🧐.” I mean, is it really happening after all? Are Brown’s claims trustable? Well, you need to ask yourself that question if you have been following him.

4 days earlier, Brown shared a wild AI video where he and Rodgers were both signing for the Steelers. Brown’s case probably doesn’t have any substance since he hasn’t played in the NFL for almost 4 years now. Although he hasn’t officially retired, the way he left definitely closed any chances for him to return in the future. Imagine taking off your jersey, shoulder pads, glove and shirt, basically half-naked and then running into the locker room. That’s what Brown did in the 2021 season with the Bucs.

His return probably won’t happen ever until the Steelers have a change of mind. Will they? But moving on, it looks like Rodgers is closing in on a sensational return to the gridiron—for one last time, maybe? See, the Steelers had been in conversation with the 41-year-old since the moment he hit the free-agency market for the first time. And those conversations even led to the Steelers watching helplessly Justin Fields take Rodgers’ place in New York. Russell Wilson? Looking for a new home in Cleveland or at MetLife Stadium with the Big Blues, where he once won the Super Bowl.

Nothing is concrete just yet if you ignore Brown’s claims. But one thing is for sure. Aaron Rodgers’ lack of urgency to respond to the Steelers’ interest is definitely testing Cam Heyward’s patience.

Is Cam Heyward really fed up with the Steelers QB carousel?

Just when the NFL was probably wondering if Rodgers would really get a new franchise after his Jets divorce? They found the Steelers showing an active interest in bringing the 41-year-old. What started with Justin Fields or Russell Wilson has now turned to Aaron Rodgers. But somewhat astonishingly, Rodgers has yet to answer any of the Steelers’ approaches. Actually, if the Steelers do fail to sign Rodgers, they might be stuck with Mason Rudolph as No.1. And that apparently won’t be an issue for Cam Heyward, who believes if the Steelers don’t find a QB, Rudolph can be the answer.

What’s your perspective on:

Is Aaron Rodgers the missing piece for the Steelers, or just another chapter in their QB saga?

Have an interesting take?

“If we don’t sign a QB, and we go in there with Mason, we feel good about it. Excited to have him back. He’s a guy for the locker room. A lot of guys vibe with him.” Actually, Heyward vibing and getting along in the locker room probably won’t get you the results. And letting a QB who clearly is a backup at best start won’t be a wise decision at all. However, it might just happen, as Heyward is also pretty upset that Rodgers is balking at the prospect of playing in Pittsburgh.

“Either you want to be a Pittsburgh Steeler or you don’t. It’s that simple,” Heyward said on his podcast. So, the question is, what will Rodgers do now? Will he really make Brown’s claims right by wearing black and gold this season? Or has he had enough of the NFL after 20 years of service?
