Another day in the season, another NFL legend makes the news. However, it is hardly the gridiron’s fault this time. 46-year-old NFL legend and former Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB, Tom Brady has found himself in the spotlight again after his ex-wife’s recent interview went live. In a forthcoming chat with Lee Cowan on CBS News Sunday Morning, 43-year-old supermodel Gisele Bündchen discussed previously undisclosed details regarding her divorce from the former NFL superstar.

“I think before I was more surviving, and now I’m living, which is different,” the bombshell said in reference to her being single and embracing life after breaking away from a thirteen-long year of marriage. The supermodel might be thriving in her healing era but she has had her share of mental trauma pushing her to the edge of “jumping” off from her ninth-floor building window.

Brady and Bundchen started seeing each other in 2006 and tied the knot in early 2009. They share two children, a 12-year-old son named Benjamin and a 9-year-old daughter named Vivian. Brady also has a 15-year-old son named Jack from his prior relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan. Bündchen’s parents have been married for fifty years and the supermodel had wanted the same to happen in her life as well, but filed for divorce in October 2022.

“It’s not what I dreamed of, not what I hoped for. But I think you have to accept that the way you are in your twenties, sometimes you grow together, sometimes you grow apart,” the mother of two stated in her retrospective evaluation. She added, “He’s the father of my kids. So I always wish him the best.” Even though the couple has split they continue to harbor a peaceful understanding between each other, which helps them co-parent their children. “I’m so grateful that he gave me wonderful children,” she continued. “And I think when a door shuts, other doors open,” Bundchen said maintaining a positive perspective on life.

“I’d be hyperventilating…You know when you can’t breathe even when the windows are open, you feel like, I don’t want to live like this,” revealed Bündchen, who grappled with panic attacks during the height of her modeling career. She initially shared her thoughts of suicide in 2018, just before the launch of her memoir. “I actually had the feeling of, ‘If I just jump off my roof, this is going to end, and I never have to worry about this feeling of my world closing in,” she recollected, while promoting her book.
