Others rarely contradict Deion Sanders in his assumptions about NFL players. However, this time, Pat McAfee has refuted Coach Prime’s prediction. The analysis revolves around the quarterback sensation Caleb Williams and his chance of entering the Chicago Bears. Now that the NFL Draft is approaching, Deion Sanders and Pat McAfee offer contrasting perspectives, with the Bears emerging as the focal point of contention.
Known for his colorful commentary and bold predictions, McAfee sees Chicago as a promising destination for Williams, who is about to debut in the NFL this season. In the latest episode of The Pat McAfee Show, he drew attention with his prediction, “I think Chicago good city for Caleb Williams, awesome city for big city. A lot of opportunity, I think he’ll be able to handle the pressure. It’s a third largest.”

In contrast, Deion Sanders does not seem confident about Williams’ success if he lands with the Bears. Citing the reason behind his confident prophecy, Coach Prime stated, “And this kid can flat out play, I think he’s the best one on the board this year for sure. A kid that’s coming from California for the last couple years, right? And went to Oklahoma. That’s not terribly cold. Chicago’s cold, man.” Besides, the physical toll of the NFL’s expanded 17-game season will make it hard for Williams to transition from college football to the league. This opens the discussion for the other landing prospects of the quarterback.

Other than the Bears, several teams are vying to secure Williams. The Washington Commanders hold the second pick in the upcoming draft, presenting the quarterback with a prime opportunity to return to his roots.
Even though the Las Vegas Raiders hold a later pick, it holds an essential spot for Williams. The Raiders have positioned themselves among the Top 10 defenses in the previous season. With this, the quarterback has Las Vegas on the shortlist of his preferred teams. Additionally, holding the eighth pick in the draft, the Atlanta Falcons are not far behind. Although trading up for the Falcons might be costly, the franchise could be willing to invest.
