In a recent Twitter post, Rob Gronkowski shared his views in light of what happened between the Buffs’ Shilo Sanders and the Bruins’ Carsen Ryan. He posted one of Richard Sherman’s tweets on Shilo Sanders’ hit reel and stated that he 100% agrees with Sherman. He captioned, “This is coaching tape. That is the exact location on my body I would want to be hit in a situation like that, receiving the ball and not seeing my blindside.“
Richard baby, I 100% agree with you. This is coaching tape. That is the exact location on my body I would want to be hit in a situation like that, receiving the ball and not seeing my blindside. If he went low, the chances of him being out for the season from an injury goes… https://t.co/bL7rxnDHDN

Both Sherman and Gronkowski opine that the tackle by Shilo Sanders on Carsen Ryan is not a targeted hit. Gronk added, “If he went low, the chances of him being out for the season from an injury goes way down.” Father and head coach Deion Sanders came in defense of his son, saying that it was a routine hit and Shilo Sanders is not a bad hitter.?
Many have called out that the penalty had been harsh and unfair. In the past, a similar incident happened with Colorado in Week 3’s game against the Colorado State Rams when Travis Hunter had to leave the game with a lacerated liver injury after a tackle from Henry Blackburn. But no such penalties happened like the case of Shilo Sanders.?
Shilo had stated of the Week 3 game, “If one of us did something like that, if I did that, I think it would be like way crazy, way crazier than that. They would have kicked me off for sure.” It had been unfair of Shilo Sanders to be penalized for something he was meant to do.?

In the last game against the Bruins, Colorado was leading the game in the first quarter with a 6-0 lead. But things altercated quickly in the second quarter when Shilo Sanders tackled Carsen Ryan during his reception. But amid the celebration, the penalty flag was drawn to everyone’s disbelief.?
At first, it was supposed to be a 15-yard penalty for targeting. But after more reviews, they concluded that Sanders’ helmet clashed with Ryan’s face mask. This rendered Shilo Sanders disqualified for the remainder of the game, which many people believe is not fair play from the game officials.?
