Deion Sanders is known for his unfiltered take while developing college prospects. In the latest episode of Well Off Media on YouTube, Coach Prime said, “Stop being delusional. If you’re a man, accept the truth and live it. That’s what we’re all trying to do—accept the truth and live it.” While he did not single any player out, his words cut through the air like a knife as he looked at Shedeur Sanders, almost asking more from his son as a player.

Coach Prime’s unique approach included a detailed presentation with various slides expressing his views. He put forth the immense quality in contention to be drafted, asking his team if they had what it took to reach the top stage. His constant reality checks keep the team’s feet on the ground as they prepare for redemption from an unsuccessful campaign in 2023.

Deion Sanders’s brilliant analogy to showcase the draft reality

Deion Sanders came up with an intelligent analogy to motivate his team. He said if they took 100 players as their sample size to be drafted, ten who wanted it would either get drafted or wait till the following year. Meanwhile, the other 25 thought they got it and did what it took. The other 20 have already quit emotionally, mentally, and physically, but they’re still in uniform. The remaining 15 are on the fence about transferring, needing to understand that their problems, attitude, and work ethic go with them.

Five of the lot are just strategically preparing to figure out how to quit at the right time without seeming like quitters. Talking about the remaining lot, he underlined, “10 guys need this opportunity; another 20 need it too. They need the chance to play, to prove themselves. Where are you? You all have the opportunity, so let’s take advantage of it.” His words are a rallying cry for Colorado to perform well and have many players drafted from the college squad in the coming years.
