The life of a sportsperson comes with lots of sacrifices. To become the best in any sports field, one needs to be disciplined in terms of diet, training and then adopting lifestyle changes. This holds true in the NFL and other sports as well. In the NFL, players who play in different positions are provided with a proper training schedule, dieting protocols along with sufficient amount of protein and carbs to go with the matches.

Recently, one of the professional boxers appeared on a podcast with NFL GOAT Tom Brady. The boxer highlighted the self-discipline aspect of the game and how he transformed himself. The former 7X SB champion too gave in his insights as the conversation became interesting.  Arguably one of the biggest boxing stars in the world today, he was honest about his dieting regimes and strict practices put in place to keep himself in shape.

The answer might seem shocking to the boxer’s fans. But this is how the weight loss and getting into shape journey started for the $180 million boxer. He further went on to explain how his transformation came about, “When you want to play, you start seeing people. You start reading everything. And then you start, I wanna be a champion and I wanna keep that energy. And then you start finding people who help you with this.”

Alvarez is correct here when he mentions to adopt a champion mindset, one needs to be in shape and that motivated him to look his absolute best. Though the boxer could get his message across in English, it’s astonishing that a few years ago he struggled with talking fluently in the language.
