Vontae Davis was found dead in his grandmother Adaline Davis’ South Florida home on Monday. Police responded to a medical emergency call placed by a house assistant. A CBS Miami reporter stated, “A house assistant called 911 emergency.” The person also confirmed that “when officers arrived Davis was found unresponsive and pronounced dead.” No foul play is suspected, but the investigation is ongoing, and the cause of death will be determined with an autopsy.
