Fox Sports has been having a rough time lately, huh? But honestly, all the lawsuits and drama? It’s like a storm hitting the broadcasting world. Everyone who’s got something to say is getting caught up in it. And here is Emmanuel Acho, the former linebacker and current analyst at FS1, who is making the headlines after complimenting his co-host, Joy Taylor, amidst all the controversy.
But here’s the kicker: Acho deleted his post right after the release of a lawsuit with shocking allegations. Yeah, the lawsuit in which he and Taylor have their names. But you can’t hide from the public’s attention, Acho. And especially from the NFL veteran Marcellus Wiley, who currently runs a podcast on YouTube but earlier worked at Fox as well. “Why would you delete this in the midst of that when the attention is not on you,” Wiley said on his recent podcast. “Some of the collateral damage ricocheting you way. Why would you delete this?”
Translation. Emmanuel posted a video congratulating Taylor for her hard work as she made a name for herself with Fox Sports. Enter the lawsuit and shocking allegations filed by former hairstylist of Fox, Noushin Faraji, and he decided to delete that post. But why? I mean, that social media post was not grabbing the spotlight unless he deleted it.

See, the guy already was linked to the suit with Taylor but he was not the center of the topic at that time. But one wrong decision, and here you are. We have no clue if Emmanuel was trying to distance himself from the lawsuits or if there’s something else in his story. But worry not because Wiley is keeping a close eye on the lawsuit.
Reason? Well, there are two if we take a look. For starters, Wiley has previously worked with the network and the second and most important, he and Emmanuel worked together as co-hosts of Speak for Yourself on FS1.
“I am about to document the lawsuit in pursuit of a greater understanding in part because I used to work there, called it home but in part because I know all the characters and potentially I was a part of collateral damage,” Wiley further said. All in all folks, if you’re looking to keep an eye on the lawsuit and Acho’s drama, Wiley is the right guy to contact.

Emmanuel Acho complimented Taylor before the Fox controversy
Now let’s talk about the big picture. Being a co-host of Taylor, he took to social media and posted a video. “I got to take a moment to shout out my co-host Joy Taylor a woman, a black woman, Daily Show, sports,” Acho said. “Do you all realize how hard it is to get into the position that she is in? So often there’s misogyny and s****m running rampant in sports and we don’t even care what women have to say in sports but Joy is not only in the position on to television as a woman as a black woman but as an opinionist. So not just asking men what they think but providing her own unique and distinct Insight it’s hard to do. Enjoy. You have done it. So, congratulations. Looking forward to working with you.”
Fast forward, Faraji filed a 42-page suit that alleged Charlie Dixon and Skip Bayless for harassment while the hairstylist worked there. On the flip side, Taylor got her name involved in the suit for racially insensitive comments on Faraji. She even asked her to “get over it” when Faraji opened up to her regarding her concerns.

And when the suit hit the headlines, Acho did what he thought best for him. He deleted his social media post. But that’s not the end. As per the suit, Faraji alleged that Acho was involved in a relationship with Taylor. And that, folks, is how it all started. But, of course, the network released a statement on the lawsuit and allegations.“We take these allegations seriously and have no further comment at this time given this pending litigation,” the network stated.
Now, there’s still a lot to unfold in this drama. But one thing is sure: Emmanuel Macho is the latest hottest topic in the Fox Sports lawsuit.
