Calling out the hypocrisy
Paige Spiranac is not happy with people criticizing women athletes for using their bodies as part of their brand. She called out the hypocrisy of such people and their arguments.
“There has been a ton of discussion around female athletes and showing off their bodies,” she said. “People are saying, ‘Stop over-sexualizing yourself. You’re taking women back. “Oh, I know what you’re thinking, ‘Paige, a man would never ever show off his body for attention or over-sexualize himself or do it for a monetary gain. Hmm, are you sure about that?” Spiranac continued.
She then used the example of numerous male athletes who have posed shirtless for various brands and magazines. This includes NFL legend Tom Brady, soccer legends, David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo, and many others.
