Patrick Mahomes is about to put his golf skills on display but this time high stakes are involved. The reigning super bowl champion is gearing up for the 3rd annual Alpha Golf Classic while teaming up with Whatnot, the largest live-streaming shopping platform in the US. On Saturday, June 24th, at 8:00 p.m. C.T., the platform will broadcast the live tournament where Mahomes participates in a thrilling hole-in-one charity challenge. And, he seems prepared for it.
With 25 shots to aim for the target, he aims to win a grand prize of $1 million, which will be transferred to his charity organization, ’15 and the Mahomies’ Foundation. As the countdown begins, Mahomes is seen brushing up on the final touches.
Good times at practice for Mahomes

Patrick Mahomes was spotted practicing at the picturesque Mauna Lani golf course, in Hawai before heading for the charity challenge. The quarterback did not forget to give away sneak peeks into his preparation through his Instagram story. In one of the snaps he shared, captioned ‘Good times’ he was seen with two friends, one of which was Nick Shimanek, a sports coach and the former quarterback for Texas Tech.
The Chiefs’ quarterback also shared photos of the vast green expanse and serene backdrops of the golf course. With the tournament on the horizon, Mahomes appears relaxed yet determined. It seems the QB is leaving no stone unturned in his efforts given the significance of the win.
“I’m excited to open up the event for anyone to experience it live through Whatnot,” Mahomes had stated in a news release. “This event and the cause it supports is so important to me, so I’m eager to finally get the chance to bring all of my supporters along while I attempt a hole-in-one.”

The Superbowl champion is also inching closer to the highly anticipated Match tournament scheduled for the 29th of this month.

Patrick Mahomes, alongside fellow teammate Travis Kelce, is gearing up for an exhilarating 12-hole exhibition match. They will take on the formidable Golden State Warriors stars Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson in the 8th edition of the tournament.
