So life definitely is good for Patrick Mahomes. Currently enjoying the offseason, the quarterback was spotted at celebrity golf tournament American Century Championship.
Mahomes has been spotted at golf courses before and is a pretty decent player. But even that level of expertise couldn’t stop the Chiefs QB from getting pranked.
Fans get the better of Patrick Mahomes
Patrick Mahomes as one of several NFL players attending the celebrity golf meet. Teammate Travis Kelce and Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers too were present at the event.
But it was ultimately Patrick Mahomes who fell prey to this harmless prank. A fan attending the event threw a ball near a group people lounging near a fairway.
After tossing the ball the fans yelled “heads up”. A crowd then gathered near the ball and started speculating as to whose ball it might be. And not before long, many started saying that the ball belonged to Mahomes.

An even larger crowd gathered as Mahomes steadily made his way up the fairway. Fans directed Patrick Mahomes to check out the ball and he complied.
Even a marshal told Mahomes that the ball was his. But upon further inspection, Mahomes immediately declared that it’s not his.

A harmless prank in the end that surely made for a good laugh. With training camp edging closer Mahomes will slowly direct his mind back to the new season. A season in which he hopes to win his second Super Bowl.
