Eleven months ago, during an interview, Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors was asked about the type of skills he observes when watching Patrick Mahomes play football. In response, Curry mentioned that he sees a perfect balance in Mahomes, which is also required in his own game. Curry expressed his appreciation, stating, “He[Patrick] likes to take chances…I love that style.” He further added that it’s the “same kind of way that I play.

Curry expressed a great deal of admiration and respect for Mahomes and the way he performs on the football field, drawing parallels to his style of play. Adding to the intrigue of fans, on the 29th, Patrick and Curry are scheduled to face off in a match on the green grass. However, it’s worth noting that in one of Patrick’s previous golf matches, he experienced defeat against two highly renowned NFL names, Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady.

Mahomes’ last match resulted in a loss for him

In the previous edition of ‘The Match’, Rodgers, paired with seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady, triumphed over superstar quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills, finishing one stroke ahead with a score of 3-under-par. The former quarterback of the Green Bay Packers once again showcased his clutch skills by sinking a crucial 15-foot putt on the 12th hole to secure the victory. Mahomes and Allen had held a one-stroke lead through the eighth and ninth holes, but Brady and Rodgers made a late surge on the green to take the lead.
