“My Heart Beat Faster”: Josh Allen Left ‘Starstruck’ After Spending 20 Seconds With Golf Legend at Genesis Invitational

When someone meets their hero, it’s natural to feel a bit star-struck. Even if the person is Josh Allen himself. The Buffalo Bills QB spent just 20 seconds with a golfing legend at the Genesis Invitational. And that time was enough for him to get his heart to beat a little faster.

Tiger Woods returned to golf after a long hiatus. And Allen not only watched the legend play at the Riviera Country Club but also shook hands with him on the sidelines.

Josh Allen is in love with golf. In fact, if he wasn’t an NFL QB, he most certainly would have been a pro golfer. So, meeting a legend of the game and shaking hands with him means a lot more to him than anybody can imagine.

Allen met Tiger Woods at the Genesis Invitational at the Riviera Country Club on Sunday. And the 20-second meetup left the Bills QB star-struck and with a memory that he will keep with him for the rest of his life.

“Little star-struck, obviously,” Allen admitted after the encounter. “He’s one of the only athletes ever, him and Kobe (Bryant) are the two guys that I actually felt my heart beat faster when he’s standing over a putt for a tournament. I legit felt the pressure with him. That was pretty cool, never forget it. I’m kinda speechless,” the QB added.

Woods made a much-anticipated return to the PGA circuit with the invitational tournament. The legendary golfer finished tied 45th in the tournament with a score of one under par. But the NFL world couldn’t get over Allen’s meetup with him on the golf course.
