Aaron Rodgers thinks those criticizing handicap in his Pebble Beach Pro-Am win on Sunday are just jealous. In his weekly interaction, podcaster and ex-NFL punter Pat McAfee asked Rodgers if he had heard all the talk around his win.

“Lot of jealousy out there. Lot of jealousy,” Rodgers said on the ‘Pat McAfee Show’.

The iconic QB then explained his side of the story. He said that he didn’t ask for the handicap and won just one time out of eight.

“No listen, they gave me the handicap. I didn’t ask for that, you know, I submitted all my information. Previously I played eight times, I made the cut one time,” Rodgers added.

Soon after his AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am title win on Sunday, Rodgers received criticism on his handicap. Every amateur golfer gets a boost on their score in the tournament. But golfer Keith Mitchell alleged that Rodgers had got a bigger boost than he should have. Whatever might be the chatter, Rodgers has added a golf title to his resume.

The face of the Packers franchise did not plan to play in the tournament. But his schedule opened up after the Packers crashed out of playoff contention.
