Poyer recently shared an 11-minute-long video on his Instagram page, explaining the whole situation. He revealed that athletes and sponsors were pulling away from the event due to its location. He also added that the sponsors were also pressurized for the same reason. The event was set to take place on July 10, but it’s now delayed until next year. Soon after, Josh stepped into the comment section, writing “Love you, brother” to provide comforting support to his friend in a time of need.

Despite Poyer’s event being canceled, there is another golf tournament to look forward to. Patrick Mahomes is set to face two NBA legends along with his teammate, Travis Kelce, in “The Match”.
