“Obviously, I met Brady, and that was amazing and awesome. But it would have felt like a bandwagon,” Ricciardo tells ESPN. “The Brady pass was surreal. Not just to receive the pass, but to do yacht to yacht was crazy… First one I caught, then I got cocky and said ‘let’s go further [back]’. We reversed the boat, and I didn’t quite catch the next couple.”
It is impossible to not be a fan of the quarterback after receiving his passes from another yacht and that is exactly how the F1 star got to be a Brady admirer himself. However, he still holds his ground on being a Bills fan oddly.
Despite meeting Tom Brady, @danielricciardo wanted to support an "out of the box" #NFL team.

Ricciardo still loves the Bills
Daniel Ricciardo has been an avid American sports fan. His NBA team is the LA Lakers, his MLB team the LA Dodgers. But when asked about his NFL choice, he said, “[But] everyone was Brady and Patriots, so I thought I’d do something a little different… I forced myself not to go for a California team. I was like, let’s change it up a little I thought I’m going to go for something a little out of the box.”

And so he went ‘out of the box’ with the Buffalo Bills. Although he feels weird about his choice to go with the Bills as he hates cold and his body fat could not stand the temperatures. But he still aspires to attend a Bills’ game as the Bills’ quarterback Josh Allen loves to watch him in the racing arena.
