George Russell is one of the best and brightest drivers in Formula One right now. The young Williams driver is set to move to Mercedes at the end of the 2021 F1 season. It remains one of the most eagerly awaited moves in the sports’ history. Ahead of the big NFL game in Spurs’ home ground, the Brit took to Twitter to wish the Dolphins good luck.

“Best of luck to the Miami Dolphins playing in London. I’ll be there to cheer you on. All the best.” A sweet and meaningful gesture from one of the fastest rising talents in the world. Russell is currently enjoying his breakout season in Formula One, winning crucial points for the dogged Williams Racing Team.

But opposite to him is the form both Jacksonville Jaguars and Miami Dolphins are in right now. Both teams have looked sub-par in the NFL, with the Jaguars losing all five of their games so far. The Dolphins shocked New England Patriots in the season opener, but they’ve derailed too since then. Last week, they suffered a heavy defeat to Tom Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

This match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium can be the turning point for either team. Going 0-6 would be a catastrophe for the Jaguars, but a loss would also put the Dolphins in serious trouble. Who will emerge victorious in this battle? Will George Russell’s wishes pay off, or will they be for nought?
