Daniel Ricciardo definitely enjoyed his time in Miami. The event was a first of its kind with a tremendous buzz that got fans and drivers excited alike.

From fake waters to the largest podium, Miami put on a show for traditional viewers. No other GP probably had a similar vibe to what Miami felt like.

The whole of McLaren endured a horror finish to the race. Sadly, Lando Norris faced a late crash while Ricciardo finished pointless. The entire weekend was a bit of a struggle for the Woking team, which thirsted for the desired pace. However, despite the efforts, the papaya fans had to leave the venue disappointed.

Neither of the drivers making it to the top 10 is always a nightmare for an F1 team. Notably, the season has been particularly harsh for Daniel himself. However, fans widely regard the Australian as a positive person and believe in the Honey Badger’s comeback. Ricciardo also recently reflected on his time in Miami and revealed a cherished meetup. He gushed, “My buddy Josh Allen was there so, he’s focused on that.

When asked how Josh was doing, Ricciardo informed, “He’s good yeah, there’s a lot of people there though, it’s cool.” Allen, who is a famous NFL quarterback, currently plays for the Buffalo Bills, donning the number 17. The GP also saw Serena Williams, Tom Brady, and even Michael Jordan as some of the most famed sports attendees.

A troublesome season for Ricciardo

Ricciardo’s season start has not been the best. The Aussie driver is still finding his footing with the new MCL-36. Though the home race was a major confidence boost for him, we are yet to see a proper performance from his end. He has sadly also been very unlucky sometimes, as either a DNF or a crash would tangle his chances of a win.
