Paparazzi spotted Zendaya and OBJ leaving the 2016 Grammys party together. But as soon as they suggested the duo was dating, Zendaya’s father instantly had an answer.
Zendaya’s father clarifies her relationship with Odell Beckham Jr.

When Zendaya did not answer any questions, the paparazzi asked her father if he approved of the relationship between the two.“What relationship? There is no relationship, we’re just friends,” Coleman said at the time. He then told them about the scenario when it could be called a relationship. “When you see my daughter out on a date without me, it’s a relationship,” he said. Coleman also added that at that moment, it was just an audition. “It’s like an audition. It’s an interview,” the father said, and the trio drove away.
Zendaya, in an interview the same year, laid out a process for dating her. She said anyone who wanted to date her would have to go through her father.
The present
Tom Holland met Zendaya on the sets of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016. What initially started as a friendship developed into instant chemistry. And it was evident by 2017 that the duo was dating. They have since appeared in two more movies of the Spiderman series together. The on-screen Peter Parker and MJ became a real-life couple.
Much has changed for Odell Beckham Jr. too. He won the Super Bowl title last season with the Los Angeles Rams. OBJ is looking for a new franchise to make a comeback from an ACL injury he sustained during the Super Bowl. And he is the most sought-after free agent in the NFL right now.

The Browns released OBJ halfway through the 2021 season. But it became a blessing in disguise for the WR because he joined the Rams and lifted the Vince Lombardi trophy with them. He hasn’t played in the NFL since then.
