His investments with FTX cryptocurrency were a big step. However, the venture saw a substantial dip in value, which put The Pharaoh’s net worth at a big-time risk. When the crypto business was rising, it set a new trend around celebrities. The athletes started taking payments in crypto, and renowned tie-ups surfaced. Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen also jumped in the boat with their investments in FTX crypto. However, the venture’s recent buyout by its rival, Binance.

 

As per CoinDesk, Tom Brady announced a long-term relationship with FTX cryptocurrency in 2020. It signaled his intention to enter the cryptocurrency arena. Brady received bitcoin as part of the deal, besides an equity ownership stake in the company. However, with the Fallout of FTX, they are now trading at $4.50, which went down 72%.

 

There are no mentions of the amount of their stake and the cryptocurrency in public. However, the former couple put their combined net worth of $650 Million at risk. TB12 is a big cheerleader of such ventures. However, their investment came with considerable risks.

Apart from the endorsement deals, Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen had principal positions in the Bahamian cryptocurrency venture. The quarterback was the brand ambassador, while the supermodel was the environmental and social efforts advisor. They were the face of the company.

Tom Brady still has one reason to be happy about

Tom Brady may have a lot of distress this year. His dispute with Gisele Bündchen, offensive struggles in the season, and the FTX fallout are a few. The NFL GOAT retorted to the game in Week 9 after his divorce. However, he did not let him fall behind. TB12 pulled a spectacular comeback in the game, thanks to a big win over the Los Angeles Rams.

Tampa Bay was mostly doomed after a turnover of downs. However, a critical stop offered Tom Brady an opportunity to make a comeback. With 44 seconds remaining, he hit a nice gain across the middle, accompanied by two consecutive plays. They set up the game-winning drive, which TE Cade Otton nailed it. Brady went back home with a massive comeback win.
