The Seahawks are cooking up something interesting with their coaching staff. Fresh off landing Leslie Frazier, they’ve set their sights on Joe Cullen, the Chiefs‘ defensive line coach. Word has it that the Washington Commanders and Michigan Wolverines are also vying for his expertise in the same role. Cullen has a whopping 17 seasons of NFL coaching under his belt. He definitely knows his way around the gridiron.
Chiefs defensive line coach Joe Cullen is considered a candidate for several defensive coordinator jobs, sources say. His name is in the mix with the Seahawks and Commanders, as well as at the University of Michigan.

It’s not just Seattle making moves. Greg Roman, the offensive brains, is packing his bags for the Los Angeles Chargers. Guess what’s brewing in the Raider Nation? They’re shaking things up with a new offensive coordinator! Rumor has it that Luke Getsy, the former offensive coordinator from the Chicago Bears, will take charge of the Las Vegas Raiders’ offensive playbook. The Bears bid adieu to Getsy last month. Shane Waldron had been hired to fill in for him.

Word on the street is that Getsy was in the mix with other coaching hotshots like Chip Kelly and Kliff Kingsbury. Kingsbury, though, bowed out. He might be plotting his next move with the Commanders. You see, Getsy was once the talk of the town when he helmed the Bears’ offense a couple of years back. But his time as the Bears’ offensive brain didn’t quite do wonders.
The Raiders hope that with the right environment, Getsy can work magic on the squad’s offense.
