Fans relished undefeated Gervonta Davis taking on Hector Garcia in a super fight on Saturday. And they weren’t disappointed with the quality shown by the lightweight superstar in the ring. But chaos outside the ring did put some damper on the mood. So much so that it caused an NFL superstar and reigning Super Bowl champion to speak out about it.

The Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey watched the fight, a precursor to ‘Tank Davis’ showdown with fellow undefeated Ryan Garcia. But the ringside chaos sure kept him distracted.

Chaos ensued in Capital One Arena in Washington DC in the eighth round of the showdown between Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis and Hector Garcia on Saturday night. The fans in the first two rows of the arena started their own boxing match outside the ring. And due to that, the officials briefly stopped the fight to allow the ringside security to take control of the situation.

But the stoppage distracted many fans, who were relishing Davis’ power over Garcia. And one of them was the Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey. Ramsey spoke out about the chaos on Twitter. Man what they got goin on ringside lol,” Ramsey tweeted during the fight.

The reigning Super Bowl champion took the time out of his schedule to watch the fight, just a day before the Rams play their final game of the season. They are out of the playoff picture, but they can spoil the party for the Seattle Seahawks if they win on Sunday. And Ramsey will play a key role in that bid. But the ringside chaos put a damper on his free time and for other fans who wouldn’t blink an eye. But after the fight resumed, the fans got what they came to see.

Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis overpowers Hector Garcia

Lightweight superstar Gervonta Davis kept his undefeated record going when he overpowered Hector Garcia in his latest fight in the boxing ring. Boasting of a 27-0 record before the start of the bout, Davis registered his 28th win of the career with a technical knockout. This also means that Davis now has 26 knockout wins in his career. What a record to have after 28 career bouts.

Davis will next take on Ryan Garcia and that promises to be a super fight among the super fights. Both the boxers are undefeated so far in their careers, with a record of 23-0. 19 of those wins came as a knockout. So that promises to be a mouthwatering clash. Hopefully Jalen Ramsey can enjoy that without any distractions.
