There are perhaps no bigger controversial players in the NFL than Antonio Brown. The former Pittsburgh Steelers player has gone down a different path since his retirement from the league early this year. With trying his hands in multiple avenues, the ex-WR has owned the Albany Empire. The man has even gone on to start his own rap career.
The multi-faceted former NFL stalwart recently shocked his fanbase with a guest appearance with a boxing legend. Appearing on the talk show, the jersey number 81 Bucs player immediately bonded with the show host. He discussed several things with the legendary boxer and showed a brotherly love for the charismatic player. AB shares a special relationship with the former boxer. The duo has been spotted together while hanging out, attending movie promos, bonding through Instagram by throwing punches, and on other numerous occasions. Antonio considers the famed boxer as his role model and always makes it a point to learn from his elder brother.

Antonio Brown and Mike Tyson are two enigmatic personalities. The two have amassed monetary assets and achieved fame with their different sports. These different personalities are often seen together on multiple occasions. Recently AB was invited as a guest on Tyson’s talk show- “Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson” and was asked about his connection with the celebrated boxer. AB instantly said “Connecting right away. Mike was a legend being his own person and being true to who he was.”
While Mike was an outspoken boxer par excellence, who was famous for his explosive punches. All throughout his career, Tyson was doing things in his own way. The same quality was highlighted by the former SB champion, who credited the boxer’s unique personality to his success. AB was in complete awe of Tyson and further stated that Mike never let himself get carried away in tough situations. He said, “..where we come from you got to be able to you know stay true to who you was in adverse situations.” The 7X Pro-Bowl winner also grabbed serious attention when he hinted about a possible career revival with the Steelers.

There’s no denying that AB in his prime years was a different entity altogether! His talent and skills were well ahead of anyone in the years between 2010 and 2018. Most of his NFL success- be it 4X First-Team All-Pro or 2X NFL receptions leader mentions amongst several others came at Pittsburgh Steelers. Now, the 84 jersey number has hinted at a possible comeback.
The team’s current WR Diontae Johnson suffered a hamstring injury earlier this week and is out of action for a few weeks. Brown, who is keeping a close eye on the team’s matches, sent a tweet. His tweet read “Heard the @steelers need a WR…..”. The embattled WR followed it up with another tweet showing his photoshopped image next to George Pickens. It read “Feed one Fo.” While the Steelers HC denied any such comeback in 2022, Brown is not giving up all hopes. He’s still waiting in the wings to come out as the starting WR for his former side.
