The Jets may have lost the game against the Chiefs in the extravagant event that took place at Metlife, but their performance is getting all praise from every corner. Chiefs raged into a spotless 17-0 in the first quarter itself on the back of the incredible start by Patrick Mahomes. What seemed like a walk in the park for the Chiefs turned out to be a nightmare as the Jets made the roaring 20-20 comeback by the third quarter. But one player in particular stole the limelight in the gridiron that day.

Despite the last fumble which went on to cost the Jets this game, Zach Wilson was the pick of the pack. He went all out and even overshadowed the likes of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce by securing two touchdowns and running close to 250 yards on his home turf. The Chiefs, however, secured their third win this season with a 3-point victory against the Jets. But again, the ex-Broncos head coach had the choicest of words for the Jets’ QB’s performance.

Nathaniel Hackett, who coached the Denver Broncos before joining hands with the Jets brigade, was in all admiration for the in-form QB, Zach Wilson. In the recent press conference, he went all out in defending the new champ by blocking out the external noise and staying focused on the game.

The young Zach Wilson 24, who replaced the injured Aaron Rogers at the start of the season, has been receiving the end of a lot of flak from fans, critics, and reporters. But he proved himself, and how! The performance he displayed against the Chiefs was nothing short of extraordinary. And Nathaniel Hackett commended his show, saying, “He has done a great job, blocking everything out and continuing growing as a QB within the system. I appreciate that about him and he knows that he has a lot more to give“.

On being asked by the reporters what he would like to do, Nathaniel Hackett responded, ‘We played well, but in the end, what we want is a win’. The ex-Broncos prodigy is at the center of the stage because the Jets’ next match is scheduled against none other than the Denver Broncos, featuring, of course, their star QB Russell Wilson.

Who will triumph in the battle of the Wilsons?

The Jets are currently struggling with a deficit of 1 win and 3 losses, as is the case with the Broncos too. The Broncos have already had their fair share of losing close encounters at the start of the season against the Commanders and Raiders. Again, they were completely washed out by the Miami Dolphins 70- 20 in their third game.

The Broncos emerged victorious against the Bears in a close game of 31-28. Despite J. Field’s effort of 4 touchdowns, the Broncos made their comeback in the last quarter by securing a whopping 17 points.
