A friend in need is a friend indeed. There is no doubt that the Miami Dolphins’ Tua Tagovailoa is connected with two aspects of the league. One is his injury-prone games, and the other is his constant backlash facing. However, there is one person who always remains with the quarterback, i.e. Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill. There is no doubt if Tua Tagovailoa remains injury-free, he will come up as one of the best quarterbacks in the league.

Recently he finished the game with 466 passing yards in his season opener against the Los Angeles Chargers. This marked the fourth-most all-time passing record in a season opener and second-most in franchise history. After proving himself again and again, Tagovailoa still faced a backlash from sports critics and football enthusiasts. However, this time, Tyreek Hill is standing by his friend through thick and thin.

In his recent podcast, WR Tyreek Hill addresses the constant backlash that Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa is facing. Hill soon came to Tagovailoa’s defense in the latest episode and expressed his frustration, saying, “I’m sick and tired of people bashing my quarterback for no reason. I’m sick of it…He’s been doing a hell of a job this year and people need to stop giving him crap.” The 29-year-old also mentioned that most people don’t understand what Tagovailoa has gone through in his career, especially in the last year.

The 25-year-old quarterback suffered two documented concussions, along with some other severe injuries. That time too, Tagovailoa’s injury generated doubts among many about whether he would comeback or not. And some people gave him constant backlashes, saying that he shouldn’t be playing in the league now. However, coming from the injury-prone season, Tua Tagovailoa has been proving himself this season leading his team with 5-1 so far. And according to Hill, Tagovailoa is a strong contender for the MVP.
