Mahomes accomplished this feat during the first quarter of a thrilling 23-20 victory for the Kansas City Chiefs, connecting with tight end Noah Gray on a 34-yard touchdown pass. This achievement surpasses the previous record held by Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino, who reached 200 TD passes in 89 games.
Mahomes now stands among an elite group of HOFs, with Aaron Rodgers (currently on the Jets’ injured reserve list) achieving 200 TDs in 99 games, Peyton Manning in 106 games, and Brett Favre in 107 games. Notably, Travis Kelce has been the primary recipient of Mahomes’ regular-season touchdown passes, with 48 receptions from the star quarterback.
