Hopes of the New York Jets and their fans are renewed. After Aaron Rodgers’ injury in the season opener against the Buffalo Bills, the high anticipation surrounding the Jets plunged suddenly. Hopes were shattered, and the Jets’ enthusiasts couldn’t help but live with the dream of the Jets winning a Super Bowl championship. However, to an extent, hopes are reignited with the Jets’ new QB1.

After suffering an injury in the first four minutes of the game, A-Rod made his way to the sidelines. To fill in Rodgers’ place, Zach Wilson took the lead of the team, displaying a promising performance. And now he has a comforting message for all the Jets’ fans before their next matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The New York Jets’ official YouTube channel uploaded a video of the press conference featuring Zach Wilson. The young quarterback shared how they are preparing for the season, followed by an appeal to the Jets’ fans. 

Wilson shared, “Keep believing, we’re doing everything we can. We hope that their passion you know shows that we’re just as passionate as they are. We want to get this thing going, just as bad as they want it to. And we’re doing everything we can to get it going and we’re going to keep working hard.

During the preseason game, Zach Wilson showed promising gameplay hinting at the potential Rodgers’ replacement for the Jets. Now in the absence of Rodgers, Wilson is the primary quarterback of the team, leading the team in their next matchup against the defending champions.

Chiefs vs. Jets

The Jets lodged one victory in the first game against the Bills. After that the Jets are down with two consecutive defeats. Whereas their next rivals, the Chiefs started their season with a defeat and then bounced back with two consecutive victories. The Chiefs are emerging as favorite contenders to win the Super Bowl championship and with every game, the Chiefs are proving why they are the favorites.
