The 2023 NFL season is almost halfway there. With thrilling gridiron matchups, injuries, and unexpected events like Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s romantic saga, the 2023 NFL season is delivering up to its hype. However, with the ongoing season the trade deadlines are approaching. Franchises along with the players are keen on revamping their rosters, hoping for a comeback. 

There are franchises like the Kansas City Chiefs that are displaying their A-Game. Whereas franchises like the Denver Broncos are eagerly aiming for a comeback, and the mid-season trades, possible drafts can be a catalyst in their comeback.

Trade rumors in the NFL fraternity

First is the Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown. In six games, the Cardinals are down with five defeats and one victory. And the Cardinals are less likely to re-sign Brown to their roster. Moreover, Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Adam Thielen can be traded with the Carolina Panthers, where the Ravens faced a challenge with their receivers dropping the passes.

Buffalo Bills cornerback Pat Surtain can be another name on the list of mid-season trades. Moreover, Surtain can be followed by Cincinnati Bengals tight end Darren Waller. Last but not least, Chicago Bears wide receiver Darnell Mooney can also join the list.

However, the trade deadline falls on October 31. In the 2022 season, 10 trades took place a week prior to the deadline. And continuing the drill, the ongoing NFL season can witness the same.

What the 2023 season can witness?

In the ongoing season, Parris Campbell and Mecole Hardman find themselves in crowded wide receiver rooms. The duo are definitely potential trade candidates for the New York Giants and New York Jets, respectively. Moreover, Jaylon Johnson of the Chicago Bears is an intriguing name in the cornerback market. He could land a trade if the right price is offered. Furthermore, In Denver, wide receivers Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton are on the trade radar.

However, with potential trades surfacing in the NFL landscape, the 2023 season can witness a renewed approach. With the addition of players, several teams can certainly embark on their revival process. But with the events being unfolded, the 2023 season couldn’t get more reasonable than this. With Aaron Rodgers’ injury, the Kelce-Swift saga, the Chiefs’ promising gameplay, and the Broncos’ failure to mark a comeback, the 2023 season is already on the way to becoming one of the most exciting NFL seasons.
