The NFL’s love birds, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, had a great night out last weekend. This was their second date in a row, in quick successive times. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end was seen at the singer’s Tribeca apartment before attending the Jets vs Eagles game to support his brother Jason Kelce, who plays for the latter side. But Travis Kelce is a killer, as his Instagram name suggests, and he kills it on and off the field.
While the Taylor Swift saga is keeping him much busier nowadays outside the field, Travis Kelce isn’t the one to get distracted from his game. After the Broncos game, the tight end has secured one more record in his illustrious career. And it’s quite astonishing to witness the heights he’ll reach as Kelce is still very much in his prime.

With his 124-yard catching game against the Broncos, the veteran tight end has registered his name in the NFL history books. Already regarded as one of the greatest tight ends in the history of the league, Kelce has broken a few records and is on the course to break some more. And he is slowly approaching his target no matter the occurrences in his personal life.
Kelce is now the tight end with the highest yards after catch in the league’s history. The tight end is also the only ninth player since 1992 to cross the 5000-yard mark at YAC, standing exactly at 5033 yards. The Chiefs’ official Instagram account has posted the stats recently, boasting about the staggering record of their star.

Although he was always a force to be reckoned with, Kelce has hit the top gear after meeting with Taylor Swift. There’s a consistency in his past few games that speaks confidence, and that’s something the Cheifs and Swift can be proud of. But how long can we expect the 34-year-old to perform at this level?

Before we get to the fact of Travis Kelce’s future achievements, remember that GOAT Tom Brady won four of his seven Super Bowls after the age of 34, winning the fourth at 38. Tony Gonzalez, one of the NFL’s greatest tight ends ever, set all-time catching and receiving yard records after he was 34, before hanging up his cleats at 37.
So there is still enough time for Kelce to nick in a few more Super Bowls. And he is surely in the physical shape and mental state to do so. Still fairly young in his career, Kelce is expected to break many more records in years to come if he doesn’t encounter serious injuries.
