The defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs are cruising to another playoff berth because of top players Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, who are winning games one after another like cutting a slice of cake. As seen by their recent triumphs over the Jets (23-20) and Minnesota Vikings (27-20), the Chiefs performed even better in the high-stakes pressure games. After four straight victories, the team currently is looking unbeatable.

The Chiefs’ injury report was made public on the day after the game, which likely came as a heartbreak to their fans. Travis Kelce, who apparently has an ankle sprain, was not participating in drills; his status was marked as DNP(Did not participate). But there is some respite coming in now. The recent injury update has brought certain good news with it!

Since the injury update came out, people have been lashing out at the use of turf in place of grass at the stadiums. The nature of the turf is such that players can receive non-contact injuries without any warnings. A social media user brought the news updating the current status of Travis Kelce during practice.

The Social media page goes by the name ‘Jordan Schultz’ on X posted that the status of “Travis Kelce, listed as questionable, is expected to play Thursday night vs the Broncos”.

The tweet further gave information regarding Travis Kelce’s injury “I’m told Kelce’s ankle have responded well after a non-contact injury during Sunday’s night win over the Vikings”. And added, ”Patrick Mahomes should have his top target in prime-time”.

This is confirmed that Travis Kelce can feature in the game as his current status during practice sessions was LP (Limited Participation) on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Chiefs will make the short work of the Broncos

The Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos will face off on Thursday of this week. Despite the uncertainty surrounding his playing status, Travis Kelce’s absence from the game might go unnoticed by the Chiefs. The reason is the Broncos’ poor season-long play. They have managed to secure only one win during the course of five weeks.

When you lose four of your first five games of the season, the statistics speak for themselves. Also, their record against the Chiefs is so poor that they have lost 15 of their last games.
