Randi took to Instagram to share a picture of herself in Texas. She was standing, hand on her hips, against a set of cutout wings. The post was captioned, “Always can count on Me, Myself & I #blessed”. Being a single mom is difficult and Randi Mahomes has passed that test with flying colors. She often calls herself “QB Producer”. She did not just raise three children. One of them also has a solid claim to the title of the greatest quarterback in the league right now.

Her son’s achievements are a testament to her strength of character and resourcefulness. Her followers and Chiefs fans often look up to her as a role model.

A tale of two Mahomes

Mahomes’ preliminary hearing was pushed to October 24 after the judge contracted Covid.

Jackson faces charges of three counts of aggravated sexual battery. He had allegedly, forced himself on the daughter of the owner of Aspen’s Restaurant in Kansas City. As the hearing date nears, the family is going to need all the strength it can gather to face what’s coming. According to Forbes, if found guilty, Mahomes can be awarded up to 55 months of jail time.

Family drama aside, the elder Patrick Mahomes once again carried the day for the Kansas City Chiefs during their humbling of the already subdued Denver Broncos on Friday night.

They managed to retain their leadership of the AFC West while ensuring the Broncos languish at the bottom. On October 22, they will face divisional rivals, the Los Angeles Chargers, who are just below them in the division table.
