The alleged dating rumors between Chiefs TE Travis Kelce and American singer Taylor Swift began when the NFL player tried to approach her during her Eras Tour.

Later on, as per the rumors, the two secretly met, and they made their first appearance together after the game, before driving off for a road trip. However, what if you were told that all these dreamy and ‘wow’ tales, including Swift’s appearance at Arrowhead, were just ‘scripted’? Well, Travis Kelce revealed something strange in his brother’s show, suggesting that everything was staged!

Travis Kelce said that was all ‘staged’?

During a recent episode of ‘The New Heights,’ Travis Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, asked him, “How’s it feel that Taylor Swift has finally put you on the map?” To this, Travis first chuckled and then replied, “Shout out to Taylor for pulling up that was pretty ballsy.” He continued humorously, suggesting that all of it was scripted.

The 33-year-old said, “I just thought it was awesome how everybody in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her, the friends, or family, she looked amazing. Everybody was talking about her in great light and on top of that the day went perfect for Chiefs fans of course. We scripted it all, ladies and gentlemen!” Furthermore, the tight end also admitted that he loved everything about that day, including the high-fives with his mom, Donna Kelce.

However, that wasn’t all. Earlier, Kelce had revealed another reason for inviting Tay-Tay to watch his game.

The superstar duo first made headlines when the athlete revealed that he wanted to meet the ‘Blank Space’ singer and give her a friendship band that he had made himself. However, at that time, they couldn’t meet as the legendary singer was busy preparing for her next show. Then, during the Chiefs vs. Bears game, Taylor Swift appeared, surprising everyone. But how did she attend the game suddenly? Well, the story behind the invitation was revealed by Travis Kelce himself.

Earlier on the Pat McAfee Show, Travis Kelce revealed that he was the one who directly asked and invited Taylor Swift to watch the game against the Bears. He said to the 12-time Grammy winner, “I’ve seen you rock the stage at Arrowhead. You might have to come see me rock the stage at Arrowhead and see which one’s a little more lit. We’ll see what happens in the near future.” Tay-Tay accepted his invitation and came to attend the game in KC.

However, there has been no confirmation of their alleged dating from either side. But at least Travis has found someone outside the NFL with whom he can share his personalized friendship bands for sure.
