Patrick Mahomes’ younger brother Jackson Mahomes’ day of preliminary hearing is arriving soon. While, on the other hand, Mahomes himself is facing a difficult situation in the field. QAs according to him, his team’s one part isn’t performing well. However, the reigning champion Chiefs are facing the other NFL teams bravely with a 5-1 record so far this season. And continuing their champion status on the AFC West scoreboard.

Patrick Mahomes and his team, are heading towards their Week 7 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, October 22, at KC. However, ahead of the matchup, the Chiefs are shuffling their roster in the team. They brought back WR Mecole Hardman and are planning to re-allocate Frank Clark after his release from the Denver Broncos. These moves by the Red Sea came after they realized that the Chiefs. Although performing well in the season, are lacking a great offensive end. Mahomes, who is known for creating records and is often hailed as the legendary QB, wasn’t that good in the past few games as well.
He threw less than 300 yards for the third time in his first few games. Mahomes in an interview earlier this month expressed his disappointment, saying, “I just haven’t played very good to start the season. I think if I start playing better everybody is going to start playing better.” The 2x MVP also believes that his team’s offensive side isn’t performing well, with only TE Travis Kelce being the highest receiver. Hence, the team is planning to make some changes on their offensive end to avoid any roadblock, and Hardman & Clark are a part of this move.
As Mahomes is having a fight to perform the best in his mind, he is having a figth with his emotions as well due to his brother, Jackson Mahomes.

Earlier on February 28, this year, Jackson Mahomes allegedly assaulted an elderly female-owner. She later complained about him, eventually leading to Jackson Mahomes’ arrest on May 3. The social media influencer was charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery and one count of misdemeanor battery, for which he pleaded not guilty in the court. With further proceedings, a rescheduling conference was held at Johnson County District Court in August.
The judge was about to have a preliminary hearing in the last week of August. But as he was contracted COVID-19, the hearing was shifted to October 24, via a zoom call meeting. Now as the date nears, Mahomes’ family is awaiting any positive sign for the TikTok star. It would be interesting to see whether Jackson Mahomes will arrive at his brother’s upcoming game. With the Chargers at Arrowhead, just two days before his own challenging situation, it seems unlikely for the younger Mahomes to attend the game.

As for the matchup, this will be an important game for the Chargers. Especially after coming off a devastating loss against the Dallas Cowboys. This will be a great time to defeat their division opponent, the Chiefs. It will be important for the Chiefs to maintain the record of his winning streak this season.
