The Kansas City Chiefs are moving full steam ahead in the season. The defending champs have been successful in the field and outside of it. After Taylor Swift crashed their last game, the Chiefs hit the record for live coverages and jersey sales. With speculations that the pop singer could be back at MetLife, ticket sales for the early October battle have sky-rocketed. Swift definitely gets her credit for the Chiefs’ recent financial gains as they prepare for the mega October showdown.
But captain Patrick Mahomes isn’t far behind these financial aspects. In fact, it wouldn’t be far-fetched to say that he doesn’t know how to lose, be it inside or off the pitch. The latest endorsement update is just proof of the same. The star QB and his billion-dollar association have hit the NFL arena just before the big battles ahead.

Time has been in favor lately for the Chiefs. They have turned the season back since their first loss against the Detroit Lions. The quarterback has been their main weapon, as always, who was, time and again, assisted by Travis Kelce. Their combined efforts saw the Chiefs drub the Chicago Bears last game.
However, before their upcoming battle against the Jets, players are casually relaxed. Among whom, some are focusing on their personal lives and businesses. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes is one such individual who has used his free time to market his own performance wear line.
Yesterday, Patrick announced the launch of a new shoe from ‘2PM’ in his Instagram story. The ‘2PM’, which stands for Patrick Mahomes II, is his personal product line. It’s a joint venture between Mahomes and global sportswear giant Adidas, and the $31 billion company manufactures the clothes and shoes with Patrick’s branding.
The line is a super hit already, given its association with Patrick Mahomes and colors of the Kansas City Chiefs, it sports in some pieces. However, Mahomes’ Chiefs jersey sales have been facing a tough competition from one of his teammates. Unsurprisingly, it’s TK87, the acronym for Travis Kelce 87.
Following Taylor Swift’s presence at the Arrowhead, Kelce’s jersey’s sales increased by nearly 400%. Travis also gained nearly 250k followers on Instagram over the past weekend from the rumored budding relationship. But the question zips back to Mahomes: Can the quarterback maintain his last game performance amid increasingly high expectations?

Mahomes-Kelce duo against the Jets
Chiefs will visit the MetLife Stadium next Monday to take on the Jets. Following the injury of Aaron Rodgers and two straight defeats, the Yorkers are fighting for their honor. Amid rumors that Aaron could be spotted on the stand, the Jets have brought in Trevor Siemian to fill in the gap created by the veteran.
Quarterback Zach Wilson has his faith in Trevor already as he revealed how well the former Bengals quarterback blends with the team. Wilson, although he comes with a good record, has struggled on the field recently. The Jets have failed to convert their enthusiasm into a victory. What looked like a promising team, despite A-Rod’s absence, was exposed in their last venture miserably.

But can the Jets’ new offensive unit make their efforts count against the motivated and star-studded Chiefs team? Or will the Mahomes-Kelce duo be able to hand over defeat to the Gang Green? It’s a do-or-die match for the Jets, and only time will tell if they can come over the death or not.
