Many of the Dolphins’ fans recognize Allie Goodman. She won the ‘Fan of the Year’ contest in 2022. But most people aren’t aware of her exciting encounter in Phoenix last year. Now that chance encounter has proven fruitful for her after she was the victim of a ticket scam.

Last year, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs took on each other to determine the winner of the 2022 Super Bowl. In the stadium was one Dolphins superfan who had made tremendous plans to support their team this weekend in Philly. But things did not turn out in her favor as her 65 tickets got scammed. However, all 65 of the Dolphins fans will be in the arena cheering for their team, thanks to the Eagles president Don Smolenski.

The Miami Dolphins will have support against the Eagles

Last year Allie Goodman met the Eagles President Don Smolenski at a bar before the game. Now this year, as 65 of the Dolphins fans were eager to cheer for their team at the Eagles game, they found out that someone had scammed them. Allie Goodman had planned to show up at the Eagles’ stadium, where she raised awareness and banded together with sixty-four other fans. But their deposit was stolen by a couple of promoters and the group was left with their heads in their hands.

But their rival team president extended a helping hand as he gifted tickets to all 65 fans. That is not all. These fans have shown their gracefulness to Smolenski. Their graciousness isn’t only in the form of a thank you, but they are putting their wallets on the line as well.

These fans have donated to the Eagles Autism Foundation. Each of the 65 fans and many more throughout the NFL have taken Smolenski’s actions to their heart and are in turn donating. The fans are going to have a memorable game as two of the NFL’s most electric teams take to the field.

The Dolphins are on the road

Both teams can flex a 5-1 record before the meeting, knowing very well that only one can have a 6-win record after the game. The Eagles are coming off a shock defeat against the Jets and will look to bounce back at home. As the Eagles try to get back to winning ways, the Dolphins will look to improve their away record.

The Miami Dolphins are 1-1 on the road. Only winning against the struggling Patriots and losing to the Bills earlier this season. As the Dolphins prepare to take on the formidable Eagles, this away record will be in the back of their mind.
