The Kansas City Chiefs recently released their latest injury report. According to the report, Matt Dickerson appeared for the second time this week. On Wednesday, head coach Andy Reid spoke to the media and said that Dickerson’s knee had swollen. But Reid assured fans that it was nothing serious or long-term, even though he missed two days of practice. Dickerson was recently signed to Kansas City, straight out of UCLA. He has been a potent teammate so far, recording four tackles in 76 defensive snaps spanning three games this season.
Nick Bolton was in limited participation for the second day in a row. Defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo described Bolton as “chomping at the bit” to make his return to the lineup. However, he did mention that it cannot be confirmed if he will return till Saturday. The linebacker suffered a sprained ankle during the Chiefs win against the Jaguars in Week 2. CB Jaylen Watson, who had been nursing a shoulder injury and had limited participation till Wednesday, fully practiced on Thursday. Does that mean the Vikings have a chance at winning?

Vikings camp riddled with injuries
Over at the Vikings’ camp, center Garrett Bradbury was upgraded to full participation ahead of the home game against the Chiefs at US Bank Stadium, Minnesota. LB Brain Asamoah has been nursing a toe injury, safety Lewis Cine has a hamstring injury, OLB Marcus Davenport was listed with an ankle injury and worst of all, their QB, Nick Mullens, was in limited practice due to a back injury.
The Chiefs have fewer casualties than the Vikings, provided Bolton and Watson make it to the lineup on Sunday. The Vikings are currently first runners-up to the bottom of the NFC North, with only the Chicago Bears outdoing them in the number of lost matches. Although a victory seems near-impossible for the Vikings, will they surprise us in the end?
