Kansas City Chiefs CB Fined $13,659 for ‘Unsportsmanlike Conduct’ After Ugly Altercation

The Kansas City Chiefs cornerback was fined by the NFL for his misconduct. The sporting landscape being full of adrenaline rush and aggression, the Chiefs’ cornerback, L’Jarius Sneed, broke a barrier in the week 5 game against the Minnesota Vikings. However, Sneed was not flagged by the match officials during the game, but after the match, the league fined him.

Since then, the Kansas City Chiefs CB has been in the spotlight, receiving mixed opinions on whether he should be flagged on the field or not. But the NFL has fined him a decent amount for removing his helmet during the game.

The NFL fines the Kansas City Chiefs CB

Journalist Tom Pelissero took to his Twitter account to share the news of the NFL penalizing Kansas City Chiefs cornerback L’Jarius Sneed. Sneed removed his helmet after officials flagged him for a penalty, which according to him was an interception. However, the match officials didn’t flag him for removing his helmet, which should have drawn a penalty flag.

Sharing the news, Pelissero wrote, “The NFL fined #Chiefs CB L’Jarius Sneed $13,659 for unsportsmanlike conduct — removing his helmet to argue a flag against him late in last week’s win over the Vikings. Officials picked up the original flag and didn’t flag Sneed for removing his helmet either.”
