Life has not been the same for Travis Kelce since his meeting with Taylor Swift. After the singer graced Arrowhead, Travis gained over 250k Instagram followers within a week. Not only himself, but the tight end has won something for the team as well. The Chiefs recorded a 400% increase in his jersey sales. In his weekly podcast, Travis thanked the singer for ‘coming through’. And the tight end likely has made one more request.

Sources are hinting that Taylor could be back at MetLife. But amid the wins, there’s one thing that Travis realizes has been compromised heavily. It’s his personal life. In the same podcast with Jason, Travis pointed out how the incidents have affected his personal life.

“My personal life… that’s not so personal. I did this to myself, Jason. I know this”. Clearly, everything in life comes with a side effect, and with someone who won 12 Grammy awards, it’s more than one. No one understands that better than Travis now. Although, he eventually admitted that he still has a personal life, so has Taylor. And he respects both of them.

But Travis can at least be happy knowing that Taylor got to witness his commendable performance. Later in the podcast, Travis revealed how he was at least happy about the attention during the Bears game. And it’s because of Taylor, according to him. “Having fun, flying around, breaking all the speed limits in that thing… shout out to Taylor for coming through and seeing me rock the stage, “ Travis reflected back on their short trip in his car following the game.

Travis sets the bar high

Even a month ago, nobody expected that someone would steal Patrick Mahomes‘ stardom domination in the Chiefs community. But now, thinking the opposite is harder. Although Patrick remains the unanimous leader in the Chiefs’ offense, ‘Everything has changed’ for Travis in just one week. And he can motivate himself further, knowing Taylor will probably be back to support him at MetLife. With millions of Swifties cheering for them and the quarterback-tight end combining for a show, things can’t go wrong for the Chiefs.

That is unless the Jets join in and decide to ruin the party for the champs. This looks extremely unlikely as the Yorkers are on a two-game losing streak and have no Aaron Rodgers to save them. With almost every odds being against them, this will be one of the greatest upsets in NFL history if the Jets can pull this off. Don’t miss the October 2 Showdown.
