The Bears started this season on a really bad note. They lost all four games at the start of this season and were looking straight down at the bottom of the barrel. Last week in the game against the Washington Commanders they staged the much-needed comeback and won the match 40-20 quite convincingly.

The Hero of the match for the Bears was none other than the sensational QB Justin Fields who gave a record-breaking performance by securing 4 touchdowns which was just a repeat of his performance against the Broncos. With 11 touchdowns and more than 1k passing yards, Justin Fields is rightly spreading his wings. In today’s game too Justin Field looked sure to give the Bears a flying start against the Vikings but there is a twist in the tale.

Justin Field started the game really well and was looking right on the mark with his performance, but the Vikings’ Defensive End Danielle Hunter had other plans. As Hunter tackled the Bears, QB Fields landed right on his throwing hand and left the field while holding his hand. The injury looked serious and as we were left wondering about the status of the player now, Ian Rapoport posted on his social media handle at X and updated us about his status.

As a man of few words, he wrote, “Field is now ruled out”. Tyson Bagent replaced Fields right after, but this news came as a 24k-volt shock to the Bears fans. Without Fields, the Bears went on to lose the match 19-13.

What’s ahead?

As of now, the Vikings got their much-needed win. The Bears, however, have lost 5 out of 6 games they played. The future is looking bleaker than ever for the Bears going forward in the tournament. they will be facing the Raiders next week in their much-anticipated encounter against the Raiders at the Soldier Field Stadium. the Raiders have lost three of their five games but performed really well last week against the Packers and registered the much-needed win 17-13.
