Travis Kelce met Kayla Nicole, an on-air sports journalist, on Instagram after the latter slid into his DM’s courtesy of some liquid courage and an epic wing woman. The two lovebirds took their romance for a spin, on and off, for a solid five years before finally calling it quits in May 2022. Nicole dropped the bomb, citing ‘money issues from Kelce’s side’ as the reason for the split. Ouch, that made Kelce seem quite tight on the money end.

Fast forward to this year, and Travis Kelce’s scoring again, this time with Taylor Swift. And Kayla Nicole was not exactly cheering in the stands for this new duo. She went all-in on the ‘unfollow’ button, cutting ties with Kelce and his squad faster than Kelce sprinting for the end zone.

Recently, Nicole dropped a ‘black girl video’ on Instagram, and in came Jackson Mahomes, showing support with a flurry of black hearts. This move from Jackson happens just days after Nicole unfollowed Patrick and Brittany Mahomes. It’s a lesser-known fact that Brittany Mahomes and Nicole were best friends. In fact, Nicole was even a bridesmaid at Brittany and Patrick’s wedding.

After that legal curveball, he decided to step back from the social media game for a while. But you know what they say, the show must go on. Jackson made a quiet return on TikTok, after he cheered on his big brother Patrick Mahomes at the Chiefs’ showdown with the New York Jets.
