It seems like the battle between the New York Jets’ injured quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce is far from over. Last week on the Pat McAfee show, Rodgers labeled Kelce ‘Mr. Pfizer.’ This was due to the participation of the latter in a commercial by Pfizer. Interestingly though, the label has turned many heads toward the commercial and Kelce.

This term associated with the footballer has also channeled attention toward the said vaccines. While initially only the players were involved in this discussion, fans soon joined in and turned it into a debate. However, Rodgers recently opened up about how he feels regarding vaccines and is up for a discussion with Kelce and any pharmaceutical expert.

This Tuesday, Rodgers who is suffering from an Achilles injury sat with Pat McAfee and alongside the legend LeBron James on McAfee’s show. In the episode, McAfee and Rodgers started talking about ‘Mr. Pfizer.’ The topic of discussions began with the term used by A-Rod for the tight end and soon turned toward the vaccines.

Rodgers challenged Kelce to a vaccine debate and also suggested that the Chiefs tight end and Dr. Anthony Fauci, be on one side, while Rodgers and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will be on the other side. The mention of the 2024 independent presidential candidate was probably because both Rodgers and Kennedy are quite well-known for their stance on vaccination; both can be labeled as anti-vaxxers.

Earlier, Kelce was asked by the reporters for his reaction to Mr. Pfizer’s label. He said, “Who knew I’d get into the vax wars with Aaron Rodgers, man?” It was a rhetorical question. In response to Kelce, Rodgers reacted, “This ain’t a war, homie. This is just a conversation.”

However, for the 39-year-old if Kelce is willing it can become a debate with a podcast as the platform. Rodgers said, “Let’s have a conversation. Let’s do it like in John Wick 4.” Till now, it is not clear whether Kelce will accept this challenge. But one thing is sure this feud is helping one entity and that is “Pfizer”.
