The Denver Broncos seem to have settled into their old groove, finding themselves on the wrong side of the scoreboard once again. It was a rough day at Mile High Stadium as they fell to the New York Jets with a final score of 21-31. For Broncos faithful, this loss stings like a missed extra-point kick. They were hoping for a Mile High miracle after the triumphant win over the Chicago Bears in Week 4, but it appears they’re still searching for their consistency playbook.

As for the Kansas City Chiefs, they’re on a roll, notching their fourth victory of the season. They went into the U.S. Bank Stadium and tamed the Minnesota Vikings, finishing with a sweet 27-20 win. It seems the Chiefs are scripting a success story while the Broncos work on getting back to their winning ways.

The Denver Broncos have once again left Broncos Nation feeling like they’ve taken a big hit on the goal line. This time, it was the New York Jets who brought the pain. If you’re wondering where things went south for the Broncos, look no further than the O-line. Despite some flashes of brilliance, the offense struggled to get into their groove and hold on to it. Even the highly anticipated comeback season for Broncos’ star QB Russell Wilson has been more like a rollercoaster ride with its ups and downs.

In a post-game media chat, Wilson broke down what went wrong with their offensive rhythm. He also gave props to the rookie players out there trying to make their mark. When the topic of receiver troubles came up with just six minutes left in the game, Wilson didn’t shy away. Instead, he owned it like a pro, saying, “A lot of times you know, the stuff underneath, the backs and the tight-ends, was there”.

Elaborating further about Jerry Jeudy, Wilson praised him saying, “Jerry did a great route on that one, got open…that was a big third down, I think it was a 3rd and nine or something. I can’t remember the distance exactly one that one.”

All this chatter might give some hope to the die-hard Broncos faithful. But, the big question remains: Can Russell Wilson really lead the charge on the road to redemption for the Denver Broncos? Time will tell, my friends, time will tell.

Well, if you thought Russell Wilson was the MVP of the “Biggest Loser” show in the Broncos’ defeat, think again! The real star of the losing lineup today is none other than Sean Payton, and it’s not even a close call. Coach Payton is about to face a hailstorm of criticism for his own choice of words. And you can bet your bottom dollar that the critics are revving up their engines. It’s like a post-game press conference battle royale out there.

Remember when Payton went on record this offseason, talking about Nathaniel Hackett’s coaching job like it was the worst thing since a bad onside kick? Well, let’s just say that those words have come back to tackle him like a blitzing linebacker. Payton’s had a major reality check this season, and it’s time to face the music. He’s going to have to take his lumps, just like the rest of the team. As well as do some serious soul-searching to find their way back into the winning playbook.
